I found myself having contemporary Japanese cuisine 2 nights in a row. Charcoal Sushi and BBQ had been a favourite of mine for years. Their free style sushi rolls were definitely better than the one I had at KiBo the night before.
It was however my first time to try AAA Roll, which was the priciest at $12.95. But it was worth it: luxurious yellow tail tuna topped with chopped scallop, a texture enhancement from smooth and creamy avocado, and a touch of spicy kick from ginger – it was just perfect.
One of my friends just ordered a Seafood Salad on her own: fresh spring mix lettuces topped with buy valium without prescription assorted seafood sashimi slices, finished with a generous bunch of daikon sprouts and light mayo sauce. It was such a beautiful dish to look at.
We also ordered Big Roller (chopped scallop & cucumber topped with eel & sliced avocado), and Submarine Roll (salmon, avocado, & tobiko, topped with seaweed salad). I always enjoyed Submarine Roll because it reminded me of the beautiful ocean and what the ocean had to offer. In my mouth, tobiko was popping & seaweed was crunching, contrasting the soft and smooth raw salmon and avocado.
