Award-winning Tulalip Resort Casino is designed to be one of the great weekend destinations for gaming, dining, meeting, entertainment, and shopping. The AAA Four-Diamond luxury resort is conveniently located just 30 minutes north of Seattle, Washington, with 370 guest rooms and suites and 30,000 square feet of premier meeting, convention and wedding space. Guests can also pamper themselves at the full-service T Spa and indulge at any of the eight eateries. For live entertainment, guests will find exciting performance at Canoes Cabaret or the 3,000-seat amphitheater. Not to mention the resort is only steps away from the 130 designer names at the Seattle Premium Outlets. Most importantly, Tulalip is built on the property of Tulalip tribes, and American aboriginal culture is incorporated almost everywhere in the resort, which makes the stay here even more unique and exciting. I was invited to a weekend getaways at Tulalip packed with many memorable experiences. As they have so much to offer here, let’s start with the recently renovated deluxe double queen room that my mom and I stayed in.
The hotel’s Deluxe Double Queen rooms are located on floors 3 through 11, and ours was on the 7th floor with amazing views of mountains and forests through those floor-to-ceiling windows. We enjoyed the lovely blend of comfort and style with tastefully designed furnishing and refined textiles – modern, elegant, and with beautiful touches of Tulalip tribal artistry. Among the most spacious in the Pacific Northwest, the room is over 500 square feet. The beds were really comfortable.
The recently upgraded bedding is provided by Portland Bed Manufacturing. We truly enjoyed the two queen-size, with luxury euro pillowtop mattress bed sets, fine cotton bedding linen, plush pillows, and ultra-soft comforters – everything is up to the luxury resort standards. My mom had a very good sleep which is a very rare case when she travels.
The bathroom was decorated with imported Italian tiles, granite countertops, twin sinks with make-up vanities, and a designer sliding door. The most impressive feature is the separate glass-enclosed spa-like shower with three adjustable body sprays. I have to admit the showers here are some of the most enjoyable that I have ever had.
Final thoughts
We had a great night of sleep in one of Tulalip Resort Casino’s finest rooms. Although not a lot of time was spent in our room as there was so much to do at the resort, the quality of sleep was so important, which makes such a difference when you are traveling.
