It is right above zero Celsius and sunny out, and just seems perfect to enjoy a delicious lamb pie fresh out of the oven! I did not see lamb pie on the menu last time so I get all excited.
This is simply meat-and-potato at its best: small chunks of lamb with diced carrots and potatoes, steaming hot, sweet and savory and blended with subtle hints of spices, tender but with good texture. I ordered the extra Epic Toppings with a pile of slightly mushy green peas brilliantly complementing each bit of the pie with extra vibrant flavours, and a scoop of silky smooth mashed potato and gravy.
